Technical Services Support Staff

The Technical Services team plays a crucial role in delivering and supporting the CareVoyant solution to our customers.

Work description:
  • You will be working on CareVoyant software deployment projects. You will be working extensively in Microsoft Windows Servers and SQL Server environments.
  • You will be troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • You may also be asked to work on in-house IT projects and helpdesk needs.

What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows Server administration or providing IT technical support services in a Microsoft Active Directory domain environment required.
  • Experience installing, migrating, upgrading business applications that use Microsoft SQL server for data management strongly preferred.
  • Technical experience (e.g. install, database backup and restore, Reporting Service report deployment) in SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2 or 2012 strongly preferred.
  • Should be willing to work evenings and weekends depending on project work load.
  • Good customer communication skills required.

Project Manager Software Implementation

Project Managers are the “go to” team members who manage the implementation process of the CareVoyant solution to new customers as well as delivering new technology to existing customers. They are the face of the company in the view of our customers.

Job Description:
  • Ability to manage implementation projects for new and existing clients
  • Act as primary contact with the client project lead
  • Prepare Project plan and other milestone documentation
  • Able to make presentations and meet with executive staff
  • Ability to lead/manage trainers assigned to projects
  • Analyze client business process and map to software process
  • Identify and utilize appropriate tools/technologies to achieve end result more effectively
  • Provide a liaison role between the different technical groups and locations involved during the course of a project
  • Must be able to speak effectively before a group and train multiple individuals in one training session
Required Skills:
  • BS or BA from an accredited university
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager
  • Home Health or Long Term Care Industry Experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, especially high ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
  • Dependable, organized, and highly motivated with ability to multi-task
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Self driven to accomplish goals and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Healthcare Clinical Application (EHR) Specialist/Trainer- Home Health, Long Term Care, Outpatient

The Healthcare Clinical Application Specialist/Trainer is required to achieve and maintain a high level of proficiency with a software product designed to provide integrated, vertical operating and clinical solutions for Home Health, Long Term Care, and Physicians.

The Application Specialist/trainer will be exposed to in-depth training on the software for a period of approximately 45 days. Combining the training received in the application with the trainer’s own prior healthcare industry knowledge and experience, each trainer will be expected to travel to our client’s sites for the purpose of instructing client staff members in the use of the licensed application.

Application Specialists/Trainers will work closely with assigned Project Managers and will provide training according to a written plan that covers the exact process that each client will be using. Trainers are responsible for facilitating effective communications with clients and Project Managers to achieve an outstanding training outcome for each client served.

Application Specialists/Trainers are required to be conversant with a broad range of health care providers in order to work effectively with our wide ranging client base. Specialty in Medicare Home Health, Long Term Care, or Physician/Outpatient EHR is very helpful.

Required Travel of up to 75% to client destinations across the U.S.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding of home health and /or long term care operations
  • Must be able to speak effectively before a group and train multiple individuals in one training session
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of staff in healthcare facilities and organizations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, especially high ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Can work with minimal supervision

Director of Implementation

This position reports to the President and is responsible for providing consultation and management to support the implementation and training of CareVoyant Healthcare client accounts and escalated issues. The position supervises the work and responsibilities of the Project Managers, third party consultants and other direct reports as assigned.

We are currently interested in candidates from Illinois, or who are willing to relocate in order to work out of our main office in Schaumburg, IL.

Responsibilities

Manage Project Managers and other direct reports, as assigned
  • Oversee project management of clients assigned to Project Managers
  • Management of Project Managers and third party Consultants
  • Coach and mentoring of team
Assign new accounts to Project Managers within 24 hours of receiving contract
  • Holds weekly status meetings with each Project Manager to review all projects, including: Review all open issues, escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure all implementation projects are on track
  • Overall client satisfaction
  • Ensure Project Manager's are 'driving' projects
  • Coach Team
  • Ask for feedback
  • Address and resolve escalated client related issues
  • Engage in personal involvement with accounts as directed
  • Responsible for making sure that all implementation guidelines, processes and procedures are followed
  • Responsible for ensuring department is achieving department and quarterly goals
  • Prepare and submit Monthly and Quarterly reports
  • Ensuring Training team is billable
  • Evening and weekend work as required.
  • Approximately 50-60% nation-wide travel is required. Travel is primarily during normal business hour; however occasional weekend travel will be required.
  • This is a high stress position that requires the handling of multiple issues and projects while proactively addressing the needs of the Project Managers and Client Accounts.

  • Ability to travel, must possess driver's license
  • Ability to meet financial requirements of a traveling position, approximate average monthly reimbursable expenses $2,000 - $ 4,000.
