The Colorado Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing (HCPF) oversees the state’s Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), which applies to all Personal Care, Home Health, and HCBS services. The goal is to help improve care quality by making caregiver activities transparent and reduces the likelihood for error or fraud by identifying the patient, the caregiver's location, clock-in and clock-out times, and services provided.
